The Ateneo Microfinance Capacity-Building Program in partnership with BPI Foundation will conduct a training course entitled “Financial Analysis.” It will be held on March 2 to 4, 2009 in Cagayan de Oro City.
The training aims to equip participants with skills on how to effectively analyze financial statements that takes into account adjustments for subsidies, donation and inflation. It focuses on the four broad areas of financial analysis – portfolio quality, efficiency, profitability and financial structure. More than just number crunching, it also offers action points that MFIs could implement to achieve financial sustainability. The course may be credited towards an Ateneo Diploma in Microfinance.
The registration fee is PhP3,500 per participant that covers electronic copy of the course materials, and a certificate of attendance from Ateneo de Manila University. Participants have the option to avail of meals (3 meals and 2 snacks) and lodging (3 days and 2 nights based on twin sharing) for an additional fee of PhP3,000.
