ATENEO MF CAPACITY-BUILDING PROGRAM

The Ateneo Microfinance Capacity Building Program aims to extend capacity building interventions designed to meet specific needs of both local and international microfinance stakeholders. It is a response to address the challenges facing the microfinance industry. Capacity building interventions are at par with international best practice; appropriate to microfinance stakeholders’ reality; applicable immediately; affordable in time and money and available for the long term. English is used as the medium of instruction.

Training courses may be credited towards a Diploma in Microfinance. The diploma course equips microfinance stakeholders with the necessary knowledge and skills to enhance the provision of microfinance services. Participants are required to attend four core courses and two elective courses. Examinations after every course attended will be facilitated. Those who pass the exams are required to implement a project that showcases application of tools, skills and knowledge learned.
