Vision: Sustainable social enterprise for the economic empowerment of the poor

Mission: To be a significant player in facilitating social investments for microfinance and microenterprise stakeholders

Core Values: Social Entrepreneurship; Shared Leadership and Teamwork; Commitment to Innovation and Excellence; and Honesty and Transparency

SEDPI Capital Credit, INc. (SCCI) started as a program of the Social Enterprise Development Partnerships, Inc. (SEDPI). It arose as SEDPI's response to provide access to financial services to small social enterprises and microfinance institutions.

SCCI started with a humble PhP45,000 (USD900) portfolio in 2004. The initial fund came from the profit of SEDPI's delivery of capacity building services. As of November 2008, SCCI's portfolio has grown to PhP15 million (USD300,000). SCCI, in its more than four years of operations, has consistently maintained 0% portfolio at risk. It also takes pride of not having to receive grants to make run its operations. This is SEDPI's way of showing the microfinance industry of its ability to practice what it preaches. Indeed, quite literally, SEDPI puts its money where its mouth is.
