SUSTAINABLE INVESTMENT FUND

The purpose of the Sustainable Investment Fund is to provide alternative investment option to individuals and organizations that support initiatives or projects that are socially responsible and provide positive economic returns. The Sustainable Investment Fund will be used to provide loans organizations that implement microfinance.

  • Overseas Filipino Workers
  • Filipino Investors (Young Professionals and Philanthropists)
  • Non Government Organizations

  • PHP50,000

INVESTMENT TERM

  • Minimum of Six (6) Month


REPAYMENT MODALITY

  • Post dated check/s issued in favor of the Social Investor covering the principal and interest due
  • Remittance to social investor's bank account (remittance fee is borne by the social investor)


SECURITY

  • A loan agreement will be executed covering the Sustainable Investment Fund between the Social Investor and SEDPI CAPITAL with Deed of Assignment of Receivables. The Deed of Assignment of Receivable states that in the event of SEDPI CAPITAL’s dissolution, social investors have the right to directly collect from SEDPI CAPITAL clients that are recipients of the Sustainable Investment Fund.


OPTIONAL GUARANTEE/SECURITY FOR OVERSEAS FILIPINO WORKERS

  • Investments are covered up to PhP250,000 worth of investments to SEDPI Capital per OFW investor. A guarantee fee of 1.5% (deducted from the interest rate above) shall be charged to the OFW investor to avail of the guarantee. The guarantee is made possible by SEDPI Capital’s partnership with Cordaid


PRE-TERMINATION POLICY

  • Social investors have the option to pre-terminate their investments. In the event that a social investor decides to pre-terminate an investment before the maturity date, the interest rate that will be used will automatically revert to 3% per annum. A 30-day notice is required to pre-terminate an investment
