SEDPI is an active member of the European Microfinance Platform under the Remittance Working Group.

SEDPI is also a member of the International Network of Alternative Finance Institutions.

In 2008, SEDPI got accredited as a service provider of the People's Development Trust Fund, a program under the Philippine government's National Anti Poverty Commission administered by the People's Credit and Finance Corporation.
